Paul gives directives, regarding the women, to Titus to see that: 1. Their behavior is holy and righteous. 2. They are to be teachers and their ministry is to the younger women. 3. They are to teach them to be pure. They are to teach them to love their husbands and children. 4. They are to teach the younger women to be obedient to their husbands. 5. They are to teach them to be Keepers at home ie, homemakers. 6. Why? So the word of God is not blasphemed. 7. When we are living contrary to the Word of God in the name of God we incur Gods displeasure and when our plans fail the people say, See, their way does not work and Gods name and values are trampled under foot. 8. Sometimes we give a false impression of what Gods plan is for the home. We must labor and walk by faith. The world tells the women a career is way more to be regarded as an achievement than training young women to live biblically. God is not moved by a degree and career. He is seeking those who love His Word and trust Him with the outcome. That which is highly esteemed by man is most likely least esteemed by God. The Devil puts the bait out and sadly those who are not grounded biblically will find themselves snared and even more sad is they dont even realize it. the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. (Titus 2:3-5 NKJV)
