Please post asap: IF YOU ARE A BT BROABAND CUSTOMER PLEASE READ ON !!!!!!!!! today I received a call from a gentleman telling me he was from the bt braodband technical support team telling me that my main computor had a virus on it that was effecting my connection ... every device thats hooked up to that connection and the bt server and he was adoment that I must turn my computer on so he can help me fix it said it was a one time offer of free support only and that I must do it there and then..... luckily for me I followed my gut instinct and told him that was not happening he kept me on the phone for 5/6 minutes not taking no for an answer i kind of figured what he was chatting was pure waffle so I got adjetated with this bloke and put the phone down on him I then called bt to talk to them about this they confirmed noone from there company had rang me in a fair few weeks they continued to advise me this is a HACK SCAM call there aim is to get into ur computer and connection to access ur ip and isp in attemp to get all your personal informati on ...If you revieve a call similar to this hang up your phone and call bts nuisance hotline as bt are aware of this situation now .
