(Posted 3:45 PM EST Sunday, January 11, 2015) Rain/Ice/Sleet is in the forecast for the Mid-Ohio Valley through Tuesday. Driving conditions may be impaired during commutes. Wood and Pleasants counties are under a Freezing Rain Advisory from 6:00 PM EST Sunday to 6:00 AM EST Monday. The Mid-Ohio Valley (MOV) will straddle a variable line between rain, ice, and sleet over the next two days. Current models show southern counties of Jackson, Roane, Calhoun, and Wirt getting only rain, with northern counties of Ritchie, Wood, Pleasants, and Tyler being impacted with more ice than rain. However, this line may waiver north-to-south, so the entire MOV should be prepared for icy conditions for the morning and evening commutes Monday and Tuesday.
