Potato Pancakes (latkes) My family is not gathering this year to celebrate Hanukkah. I am both lighting the Menorah and had a hankering for latkes. (this may be the extent to which I practice Judaism lately) Trader Joes is the answer. $1.99 for a box of 8 smallish latkes. Grade: passable not the stuff my mother would have made but.....shes done making them....this lifetime. So thanks to Trader Joes for marketing a reasonable substitute. I loved the quick convection oven prep. ( I do not/will not own a microwave) I ate 4 with my lunch. (bought 3 boxes) Hankering solved. Happy to make someone a deal on my 2 unopened boxes......:)
