President Hadi delivers speech at 3rd Africa–Arab Summit in Kuwait November 19, 2013 -KUWAIT President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi confirmed on the importance to enhance aspects of cooperation between Arab and African countries in order to create a qualitative leap forward broad prospects and fruitful cooperation in various fields. This came during President Hadis speech delivered at the 3rd Africa–Arab Summit in Kuwait. Hadi said in his speech that the priorities for economic development in the Arab and African countries according to Yemens vision is based on clear goals with five elements as follows, - Investment in infrastructure and public facilities in human development and in the agricultural sector in order to achieve sustainable development. -Linking Arab and African countries with board networks of roads, electricity, telecommunications and railways. - Developing the bilateral trade between the Arab and African countries which requires the free movement of capital and financing business activities. -Promoting Arab-African cooperation through the construction of joint institutions, research centers and various forums and conferences and through exchanging views and experiences of Arab and African countries. - Joint action to eliminate piracy and terrorism during security coordination between all countries, including Arab and African countries Also Hadi indicated in his speech to political field, stressing on the importance of coordinating Arab and African attitudes towards regional and international issues of common interest, in particular in international organizations such as the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank and the World Trade Organization (WTO). Also the President in his speech pointed to the declaration of the Regional conference on asylum and migration held in Sanaa during November 11-13. Hadi called on the 3rd Arab and African Summit to adopt the declaration of the conference. The conference confirmed on an urgent international action to better manage mixed migration while boosting support for countries of origin and host nations, Hadi said. The conference was attended by delegates of the four Horn of Africa states, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia as well as representatives from Gulf Cooperation Council states and members of the League of Arab States. Senior officials of UN, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations were also present.
