Press Release from Life Cycle - TopicsExpress

Press Release from Life Cycle March 7, 2014 A popular, well established motorcycle dealership in Kalamazoo was the victim of a serious crime, when it was discovered back in June of 2013 that a long term, trusted office manager allegedly had been embezzling for approximately three years. Amy Nicholl of Augusta, Michigan, formerly a good friend to the owners of Life Cycle, and an employee for twelve years, is now being charged with numerous counts of forgery, uttering and publishing, and agent of company fraud. She is scheduled to be arraigned after 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Kalamazoo County Court House. Owners Dave and Rebeca Reynolds will be present. “We are victims of a crime that involves a deeply personal betrayal which has been devastating both emotionally and financially,” is a statement we received from both owners, David and Rebeca Reynolds. “We’ve lost so much more than the original tens of thousands of dollars she allegedly stole. Life Cycle lost at least another $100,000 in revenue, not having capital to turn over in the business, and thousands in penalties and interest. We’ve been working diligently day and night for over a year now trying to rectify the untold damage that still continues on. We want our customers, friends, and community to know that we appreciate the loyal patronage and support we have received during the hardship of the last thirteen months. Because of them, we can move forward to re-establish our success.” Owners Dave and Beca established Life Cycle in 1991, working hard for six years before acquiring Triumph Motorcycles, their first franchise. It took a total of another seven years for them to acquire the Ducati and KTM Motorcycle franchises, growing their dealership to specialize in European brands. Life Cycle has been in business for 23 years.
