Pretty pumped for Saturdays investigation. New equipment had to be ordered due to the size of this location and high EM fields encountered (due to the equipment there). We quickly found out that the existing IR lamps we had werent suitable for long distance so several were procured from Colorado ParaTech, the GL3 base model which is rated for 100ft indoors; 80ft outdoors. The next obstacle would have been trying to conduct EVP sessions with our digital recorders without picking up the high EM noise associated with this enviroment. To get around that, we needed something that would not be affected by EM fields. For that, we chose Digital Dowsing laser EVP receiver and procured a red 532nm laser for the optical source. Were keeping our fingers crossed that they perform well in the field. REMINDER: Always wear laser safety glasses when around open laser beams.
