Problems I have with certain song lyrics. 1) There is no place in Louisiana thats just about a mile from Texarkana. Ol Cotton Fields Back Home 2) Oklahoma City looking mighty pretty. Clearly the lyricist for Route 66 has never visited Oklahoma City. 3) Joan Jett recorded I Love Rock & Roll in 1981. Where in the country was any jukebox that required only a dime? 4) U2s Vertigo. Uno, dos, tres, catorce! – in English, one, two, three, FOURTEEN!?!? (note to band, dont let Bono count off the start of the song!) 5) Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall - “We don’t need no education!” Well, that’s a double negative, so obviously you DO need an education. 6) The Who – ‘Substitute’ The north side of my town faced east and the east was facing south. WTF!??!??!?!?!? 7) Jay Z – ‘It’s Hot’ “.38 revolve like the sun round the Earth Another one who dont need no education. 8) Pitbull – ‘I Know You Want Me “Now watch him make a movie like Albert Hitchcock. Is that any relation to ALFRED Hitchcock? 9) The Beatles - Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da Desmond sits at home and does his pretty face/and in the evening shes the singer in the band. Does Molly sing with the band, or is Desmond a transvestite? 10) What in the hell IS a semolina pilchard? I Am the Walrus.
