Project Respiron makes it to ‘Engineering for Next Generation’: an innovation competition organized by TCS… Continuing with its winning streak, team Dexters from Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre has been selected among the top five teams for EngiNX 2014: Engineering for Next Generation, an innovation competition organized by TCS. Manav Rachna’s team had to go through three grueling rounds. Round 1 was the Quiz where teams were required to take up an online, three-level quiz developed by TCSL. The Quiz was in the increasing order of difficulty, with sectional cut-offs. Teams securing the minimum cut-off in each level moved to the next level. Round 2 was the Idea Submission round. In this round, teams were required to conceptualize and articulate a solution to a chosen problem, in not more than 500 words. Each team at this round was allowed to submit only one proposition. In an event where any team submitting more than one proposition, the second proposition submitted will be considered null and void and will not be considered for evaluation. Round 3 will be the development of working model and presentation (Grand Finale). Team Dexters from Manav Rachna has qualified for this round. A pre-evaluation will be arranged by the designated TCS team at the base location at this stage. Subsequently, all teams will be called to a TCS Location to demonstrate the proposition and the working model on September 26. The winning team will get the internship from TCS.
