Protagon: When Vodacom called me to its Step-up competition’s 2nd round I told other competitors around the country to give it up & said “when Prota is in it it’s already decided” so I hope I haven’t exceeded any expectations when I earned my place in the national top 10 today. It wasn’t easy I admit but my victory over other exemplary performers who have bowed out of this tough run this far was simply the icing of the cake. Not only am I on a mission to dismantle the stereotype of Maseru’s domination of such contests but I plan to prove unstoppable en route the summit of international hip-hop as well. I know that I already reign supreme in the hearts of my die-hard fans but I plead for increased support from all Basotho; I cannot do this all by myself. Reminder: Protagon is an A-class producer and lyricist par excellence; help me prove it! I spear-head Clockwise & I have to lead by example & win for all of you & I’ve just begun
