Psalms 36:7 (NKJV) How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. Psalms 36:8 (NKJV) They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. Psalms 36:9 (NKJV) For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. I had this desire in my heart to share about the loving kindness of the Lord tonight. As I was meditating on what scripture text He wanted to share with us, He had me do a search on His goodness or loving kindness. That is when I came across these beautiful verses. Notice verse 8 when it says You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. Reflect on that for a minute. What He is saying here is that He refreshes us with pleasures, of which He has an abundance. A river full of pleasures is an abundance for sure. But the pleasures to which I believe He refers are the pleasures of His presence. For verse 9 states that with Him is the fountain of life. The amazing thing about a fountain is that it continually bursts forth with water. Lastly, verse 9 says, In Your light, we see light. He shows us amazing truths, teaches us like a loving Father teaches the child He dearly loves. His heart is One of encouragement. Are you struggling tonight with a trial or difficulty? Come close and let Him put you under the shadow of His Wings, where abundant satisfaction in the fullness of His house can be found. Wow God !!
