RFA Signs Multi-Year Deal with Adidas Combat Sports Licensor Double-D Ed Soares, president of Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA), on Monday announced an exclusive multi-year deal with Double-D, the adidas Combat Sports licensors for over a decade. One of the most iconic and recognized brands in sports will now stripe the RFA cage. “RFA is honored to have an exclusive multi-year deal with Double-D/adidas Combat Sports today,” said Soares. “I have always loved adidas and seeing their three stripes in the RFA cage August 16 is going to be one of my proudest moments. This partnership is also a perfect step as we launch later this year our own USA subsidiary to distribute adidas Combat sports nationwide.” Adidas Combat Sports will appear in the RFA Octagon August 16, just as Pedro Munhoz (8-0) takes on Jeff Curran (36-15-1) for the RFA’s first ever bantamweight title fight, as well as its event debut in Los Angeles. RFA 9’s co-main event is a battle between King Kevin Casey (5-3) vs. Casey Spider Monkey Ryan (5-0). Sports fans will see the most famous three stripes in sports on the RFA cage, competition mat, on cage fencing and bumpers and on all RFA promotional signage, graphics and digital platforms. Additionally, all RFA fighters will compete wearing adidas Mixed Martial Arts gloves. The entire main card of RFA 9 – Munhoz vs. Curran will be televised live nationally to over 42 million homes on AXS TV starting at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.
