RUBBISH. Apple did it the smart way: it released OS X Public Beta before releasing the real thing in early 2001. People took Cupertino to task over the Public Beta. It listened. It improved. OS X is now a worldwide winner. 2017 will be PRC Democracy (OK, PRC HK SAR Democracy) Public Beta. God (Marx? Li Ka-Shing?) knows how it’ll work or tank. If you do the whole thing right away, and I say this from a viewpoint of a proudly sceptical Swiss citizen, you’ll have a disaster made in Hong Kong. So listen to advice from a citizen of a direct democracy — and do the 2017 Public Beta FIRST.
