Radioklub Písek OK1KPI is a group of people with an interest in engineering. The original focus of radioclub members was radiotechnology and amateur broadcasting. With the arrival of new technology in the commercial sector (internet and mobile phones), they felt a drop of interest primarily in the young generation therefore they searched for a new field of interest in technology. In September 2010 they founded the club for robotics and automatization KRA Písek. There they strive to hand our attained over to future generations. The basic aim of the club was to create ones own robot for table competitions such as Line Follower and MINI SUMO and to participate in local and international competitions. The current and following year they plan to attend further competitions. At Cafe Neu Romance 2014 they will hold a presentation on their robot competition Robotem Rovne (Robot straight forward), like they will participate in the stair climbing competition of Tour the Stairs on the 29 November at Galerie NTK in Prague: cafe-neu-romance/program/cnr-2014-lectures/cnr-2014-lectures-radioklub-pisek-%28cze%29-robotem-rovne
