Recently downloaded an iPhone app called "Tune In Radio" so I could keep in touch with Radio Margaritaville on my phone. Last week I started doing searches on it for other available radio stationa and discovered a bonanza! Right now I also have Radio Falkland Islands, Radio Havana, Radio Cartagena (Colombia), Radio Turks and Caicos Islands, Radio Barbados and US 1 Radio (Big Pine Key Florida) downloaded. Its pretty cool listening to smarmy British accents in real time from Stanley, Falklands Islands reporting that the temperature is 35 degrees F and then switching to hot salsa music from Cartagena on the Colombian coast of the Caribbean and then listening to reports about the latest political tragi-drama from Cockburn Town on Grand Turk Island (where I once lived). If you have a touch of wanderlust coursing through your veins you might give it a try - its a cheap way to travel vicariously on your iPhone. Be aware however that Radio Havana is incredibly boring - it makes elevator music seem like a Stones concert.
