Rehoming needed due to an unexpected situation in the home. Contact owner about rehoming fee please. Currently with owner and not at the HHS. Thanks :) Remington was born June 20th 2012. He is micro chipped and neutered. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is part border collie and pointer. He got a hair cut for summer but his hair grows to a thick coat like a border collie. He is house broke he loves to be outside but sleeps in the house at night. He is a very high energy dog and and does jump. He is also very protective of family and territory. I would recommend that he goes to a home with older children and no other dogs. He gets along with our 14 year golden but is possessive of his stuff. He would make a great hunting dog because he is quick and would not be good on a farm because he tries to get to our pigs and if a chicken gets out he will play with it until its dead. Although he trains well, he used to chase the mail man but does not anymore. Over all he is a very loving dog who is very loyal and just needs lots of exercise and love and he will be a great lifetime companion.
