Reluctantly I need to find someone to share or loan my beautiful coloured mare. I’m forced to do so as I don’t have enough time for her and I am going travelling at the beginning of next year and feel it’s unfair for her to be turned away. She’s currently unfit and a bit over weight as I have only had time to do her once a week. She’s 14.2hh, 16 years and is currently barefoot. She is the easiest horse ever to do, she’s 100% to hack alone or in company, in traffic, to box, bath, catch etc. Currently her flat work is the opposite end of perfect which is mainly down to a lack of consistent schooling over the past year, but when the time is put in she moves nicely. In the 6 and half years I have owned her she has never once or tried to rear, buck or bolt however I don’t feel she is a novice ride. She’s had it a bit rough in the past so I just want to find someone to love and enjoy her, who will be patient with her and handle her with kindness. I would like a quite rider who’s had horses before and who can understand her and what she responds to. I will not allow her to move yards. The yard she is at is situated just outside of Totnes, Devon.
