Report from Brestnitsa, Bulgaria of May 2, 2014 meeting: Yesterday afternoon, we stopped at Metro (like Costco or Sams Club) and bought a dozen frozen chickens, many pounds of rice, herbs, potatoes, onions and such for cooking a Chicken soup or stew for feeding the hungry at Brestnitsa. (It will provide about 3 different meals for a hundred or more.) We arrived at the village with the children running to meet us (photos on my facebook/williammark.bristow). Even with half the village camping out in the mountain forest some miles away (they are gathering mushrooms for sale in the market) - we had a full house. Marianna and Peter sang beautifully - and the people worshipped and sang along with them, then Pastor Tosco led worship with a few Gypsy choruses as the people tried to dance in the very full church. I asked Eva Dooley to share briefly her oft repeated teaching on the Prayer of Jabez. How the people rejoiced when they learned of Gods will to Bless, protect, deliver, and enlarge us. I asked Shelia Artt to share her incredible healing of cancer of the face (it reoccured 6 times). 100 doctors told her she would die. God saved her, her beauty, her ability to speak -- an incredible testimony, and as she ministered the verse God gave, Psalm 103:1-3 -- and the people repeated the verse with her -- miracles began to occur. Back problems -- old people, young people (many with kidney stones and infections). A young girl with a broken nose -- all responded to words of knowledge and the Lord touched them! On and on the power flowed. Young wives who have not been able to conceive, injured legs, shoulders, knees. Two instant lung healings -- people who could barely breathe -- suddenly breathing easily and normally. It was an incredible afternoon with these most changed of people -- who once were in great darkness -- but because of the Gospel and the hard work and dedication of people like Pastor Zhoro and Marianna, Georgan and Winnie Banov, and others -- including you and me -- this whole village is forever changed. Today we are resting in Sofia. Tomorrow we drive 5 hours to Thessaloniki, Greece with an evening Sunday service. Blessings, Mark and the team
