Results for last week - 21st July at the Regatta Centre. A Grade; This was the smallest group for A grade for the year. There were lots of attacks but no one could break clear and it came down to a bunch sprint. Results:: Jonathan Kooy 1st Nick Brain 2nd, Mitchell Stock 3rd, Ben Green 4th, Luis Trueba 5th. B Grade: The race stayed together for the first couple of laps than Stephen Cuff got away for a couple of laps; when this came back Luke Brame got away for a lap. after whuch there were small breaks but none succeeded; with 2 laps to all attempts to breakaway were quickly chased down as riders got ready for bunch finish. Results: Jeffery Mathew 1st, Adam Fitzgibbon 2nd, Adrian Azzopardi 3rd, ??? 4th Stephen Cuff 5th. C Grade; This race stuck together; during the race there were flurries of attacks but they could only get 30mtr up the road. Richard Falzon tried many times to get away. It was good to see Dorothy Grace and Nicky Brian trying to start breaks but it all came down to bunch finish. Results: Trent Goodchild 1st, William Turner 2nd, Julian Wills 3rd Jeff Smith 4th, Richard Falzon 5th. D & E grade rode together - this group mainly kept together; Jeff Scott tried to stretch them out but it all came down to a bunch sprint as the riders were very close to each other in ability. D Grade Result: James Ghata 1st, Mark McHenry 2nd, Fidel Maniti 3rd, John Glen 4th, Jeff Scott 5th. E Grade: Hamish Nielson 1st Deb Bushell 2nd
