Rhoda Blanche Jones, 86, of Leading Ck., died Wednesday, Oct. 31. 2001 at her home. She was born on Yellow Ck., the daughter of the late Arthur Bailey Doc Richards and Indiana Taylor Richards. She was a housewife. Surviving are four daughter, Shirley Taylor and her husband Douglas and Betty Jenkins and husband Eddie, all of Big Bend, Wanda Dye and husband Keith of Midland, NC, and Carol Ritchie and husband Thomas of Hawkinsville, Ga,; three sons, Darl Jones and wife Carol of Statesville, NC, Russell Jones and wife Vicki of Big Springs, and Donald Welch and wife Lula of Macon, Ga., one daughter in law Fumiko Welch of Mt. Zion; 19 grandchildren;one step grandchild; 20 great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Welch; her second husband, Harley Jones, April 28, 2001; one son, William F. Bill Welch; two grandaugher, including Debra Taylor Fowler; six sisters, Minnie Eagle, Eliza Jane Wilson, Dessie Goodnight, and Alma, Thelma, and Opal, who died in infancy, and five brothers, Willard and Lester Richards, and Oakie, Carl and Kenneth wo died in infancy. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, Services were held at Stump Furneal Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Burial was in the Goodnight Cem., Big Bend
