Running The Library of Hope is something that I hold dear. While facing 10yrs during my arrest in 2010 & my trial in 2011, I had asked my mother & lil sister Maria Isabel Barajas-Martinez to ensure that this charity of mine kept going. They promised they would. After my lil sister died, I added a butterfly to the logo... I did this in tribute to my older sister Norma & as a memorial to my lil sister Isabel. They both knew my passion for reading, & always made sure I had books. With this said, I wanna thank SB Skelly for the multiple book donations shes made to me, & to Sandra Romero for this latest drop off. Donating to people behind bars is something that isnt really popular with alot of people, but its extremely necessary. We treat inmates like exiles, & then get upset when they are released and show only anger towards society. Its about time we show them love.
