S Genesis 3 10 He said, I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me—she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate. O Adam and Eve sinned for the first time and immediately felt guilty about what they did. So they ran and hid from God and then proceeded to push blame on other people for their sin. A Some 8,000 years later and this is so true. Running and hiding or pushing blame on others are probably the easiest things for us to do when we sin and get caught. We dont want to take responsibility so instead we try to make ourselves look better. Or we just avoid the people who know the truth. We all know that no one is perfect, yet we still act, in a way, like we should be perfect. We cant let our pride get in our way of admitting we are wrong. We have to man up. P God, first off Im sorry for being so slow in admitting when I am wrong. Forgive me for blaming others for my mistakes. Let me learn to take the blame. Thank You for sending Jesus to take my punishment for my sins and let me never take that for granted.
