SQUATS! When performed properly, has a lot of diversity that can be added into your workouts. We pride ourselves on coaching correct for and technique so you dont injure yourself but also so you get the most out of the exercise. This is a very popular exercise and one of the 3 basic movements that can be incorporated into any power, strength, conditioning, building, and shaping workouts. They key things to remember when doing a proper Squat is: 1/. Keep your core tight. You do this without even noticing, day to day, concentrate on squeezing your abs. 2/. Back needs to be straight at all times. As soon as you arch or bend you are putting your back, spine, and neck at risk of severe injury. 3/. DO NOT bend at the hips to get lower to the ground. Doing so will make you lean forward and shift your balance (to basically falling forward and possibly injuring yourself). Make sure the first to bend is your knees and for your hips to follow.
