SSDI is in the process of consolidating its constitutional frameworks geared towards the official launching of its ‘de jure’ government in due time. Having been subjected to the longest colonial wars in history, that lasted over 400 years, SSDI’s sovereignty has been subjected to harsh attempts at colonial subjugation first by the Spanish, then by the Americans and eventually turned over to the Republic of the Philippines in 1946. Being tired of fighting to preserve its sovereignty from successive colonial onslaughts for over four hundred years, SSDI have since over one and a half centuries been languishing in colonial domination. For being kept impoverished despite being among the richest Kingdom in the region, now the richest in the world, the United Tausug Citizens of SSDI have decided to restore the Monarchy to its former glory, to let the Tausug citizens taste life in prosperity that our ancestors had endeavoured with blood and guts to amass for us to inherit. Let us not waste the opportunity to be able to share others who shared our misfortunes in the past. May Allah Guide us Rightly.
