SUNDAY,JULY 21ST THERE IS A SEED OF GREATNESS IN YOU. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed and enlarge my coast and that thine hand might be with me and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it might not grieve me. And God granted him that which he requested 1 Chron. 4: 10 Read 2 Sam 22:29-36 No one is created empty. God’s creation is perfect. He has deposited gifts and talents in every one. It takes effort, diligence and prayer to discover God’s deposit. The slothful may allow it to be dormant and claim that they were born poor. There is a seed of greatness in everyone. In 1 Chron. 4: 9-10, Jabez was born and named according to the negative circumstances surrounding his birth. His name affected him so much until he called on the God of Israel. God blessed him and honoured him. In 1 Sam 22:1-2, the distressed, discontented and indebted men gathered unto David at the cave of Adullam. They became David’s mighty men after much training. They went with him to battle and became victorious. God is all you need to be successful in life. God’s presence turns mediocrity to greatness.
