Sandra Ann Greene Johnson 4/14/1945 - 10/28/2013Sandra Ann Greene Johnson 68, of Largo, passed away October 28, 2013. Sandra is a lifelong Florida resident, born in Punta Gorda, Florida and has lived in Pinellas County most of her life. Sandra is and was proud to be a True Florida Cracker whose family arrived in Florida in 1824 to help settle a Wild Territory. Mrs. Sandra Johnson was a 1963 Graduate of Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. Sandra was a childcare provider to many children over the last 40 years, with her home becoming a second home to these children. It was not uncommon for these parents and children to stop by Sandras home, sometimes 10 - 15 years later just to tell her I Love You, Thanks for everything, or just to bring her flowers. Besides raising her own or other children, Sandra, Nini, loved spending time with her grandchildren and favorite nephews and nieces. She loved to take them to fish at night at the bridges at Pasadena (Corey Causeway), movies, game rooms or just sitting by a fire and re-living her child hood memories to her loved ones. Sandra did not have a Mean Bone in her body and could not, no matter what, stay mad at anyone and would always find a way to see the goodness in all of us without ever holding a grudge. Sandra will be deeply missed by family and friends and those who have been blessed to know her throughout her years. Sandra will always be in the hearts and mind of those she will leave behind, with the only comfort being, that we will see her again someday in heaven or beyond. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Lawrence W. Johnson (Largo), 2 sons Michael L. Johnson (Wife- Stephanie of St. Cloud, FL) and Kevin L.
