Schrödingers cat is a very flawed inquiry into reality. The cat - TopicsExpress

Schrödingers cat is a very flawed inquiry into reality. The cat is its own observer. Its like asking if a cat goes into a box, do we disappear when the cat is no longer observing us? Of course not. Why should the cat dissapear? Nothing disappears when we stop looking at it, if it exerts force into the world. Such as gravity. The entire premise is a construct of language, not the reality the language is meant to map out. I really worry about physicists who claim they no longer have a house when they go to work, or their meal doesnt exist until it is served to them. It is perhaps the most solipsistic position you can take on life. I dont want these people telling us what life is really like.
