Scotland votes no. The majority of Scottish people see through the lies, half truths and poorly articulated case for independence put forth by the YES campaign and instead vote positively to remain part of the United Kingdom. YES voters now bemoan fear motivating a no vote and a wasted opportunity for generations. This is not the case, our nation (UK) has achieved so much in its long history that has benefited Scotland and the world that its people have opted to keep this and reject separation. If the Scottish electorate are truly re engaged with politics the opportunity remains to build a society in their view, within the confides of a strong United Kingdom. It is voter Apathy that is the real enemy, voter apathy allowed the SNP in to power and voter Apathy that allows similar gains for UKIP down south. Vote in every election make your voice heard every time, drown out the radical elements. I can now return from my exile in America (unfortunately)
