The Ressurection +1st bead-The body of Jesus is placed in the tomb on the evening of Good Friday, Matt. 27:60 +2nd bead-HIS SOUL descends into the realm of the dead to announce to the just the tidings of their redemption, John 19:34; Matt. 27:52-53 +3rd bead-Fearing the body of JESUS will be taken, the chief priests place guards at the tomb,Matt. 27:65 +4th bead-On the third day JESUS rises from the dead, glorious and immortal, John 20:17 +5th bead-The earth quakes as the angel rolls back the stone, the guards flee in terror, Matt. 28:2-4 +6th bead-The holy women coming to anoint the body of JESUS are amazed and frightened to find the tomb open, Mark 16:4 +7th bead-An angel calms their fears: HE is not here. HE is risen as HE said, Matt. 28:6 +8th bead-JESUS appears to Mary Magdalene and Peter and two disciple on the way to Emmaus, Luke 24:31 +9th bead-That evening HE appears to the apostles behind locked doors: Peace be unto you, John 20:19 +10th bead-JESUS breathes on them and gives them the power to forgive sin, John 20:22-23 II. The Ascension +1st bead-JESUS remains on earth forty days after HIS Resurrection to prove HE has truly risen from dead, Acts 1:3 +2nd bead-HE commissions the apostles to preach the gospel to every creature, and promises to be with them forever, Matt. 28:19-20 +3rd bead-HE will not leave them orphans, but will send the HOLY SPIRIT to enlighten them, Acts 1:8 +4th bead-JESUS proceeds to Mt. Olivet accompanied by HIS mother and the apostles and disciples, Luke 24:50 +5th bead-Extending HIS pierced hands over all in last blessings, HE ascends into heaven, Luke 24:51 +6th bead-As HE ascends a cloud takes HIM from their sight, Acts 1:9 +7th bead-JESUS ascends to take place at the right hand of the FATHER, Mark 16:19 +8th bead-What jubilation there must be amid the angels of heaven at the triumphant entry of JESUS, Revelation 4:7 +9th bead-The wounds in HIS glorified body are an endless plea before the FATHER on our behalf, Revelation 5:6 +10th bead-The disciples leave Mt. The Descent of the HOLY SPIRIT +1st bead-The apostles are gathered in the upper room where JESUS had held the Last Supper, Acts 1:13 +2nd bead-They are preserving in prayer with Mary the Mother of JESUS, Acts 1:14 +3rd bead-A sound comes from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it fills the whole house, Acts 2:2 +4th bead-The HOLY SPIRIT descends on each of them in the form of tongues of fire, Acts 2:3 +5th bead-Filled with the GIFTS of the HOLY SPIRIT,they are enlightened and strengthened to spread the gospel, Acts 2:4 +6th bead-The multitudes are confounded because every man hears them speak in his own tongue, Acts 2:6 +7th bead-Having lost all fear of the jewish leaders, the apostles boldly preach CHRIST crucified, Acts 2:23 +8th bead-The HOLY SPIRIT comes upon the Infant Church never to leave it, Acts 2:33 +9th bead-The first day Peter goes forth to preach and baptizes three thousand, Acts 2:43 +10th bead-The feast of Pentecost is the birthday of the Church for on that day it begins to grow, Acts 2:47 IV. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary +1st bead-After the apostles have dispersed, the Blessed Mother goes to live with St. John, the beloved disciple, John 19:27 +2nd bead-Mary lives many years on earth after the death of CHRIST. +3rd bead-She is a source of comfort, consolation and strength to the apostles, Acts 1:14 +4th bead-As She had nourished the INFANT JESUS, so she nourishes Spiritually the Infant Church. +5th bead-Mary dies, not of bodily infirmity, but is wholly overcome rapture of Divine Love, Revelation 12:16 +6th bead-Her Body as well as Her Soul is taken up into Heaven. +7th bead-After Her burial the apostles go to the tomb and find only fragrant lilies. +8th bead-JESUS do not permit the sinless body of HIS Mother to decay in grave, Rev. 12:6 +9th bead-Corruption of the body is an effect of original from which Mary is totally exempted, Luke 1:28 +10th bead-The body and soul of all will be backed and united at last judgement, Luke 20:36 V. The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary +1st bead-As Mary enters heaven, the entire court of heaven greets with joy this masterpiece of GOD‘s creation. +2nd bead-Mary is crowned by Her DIVINE SON as Queen of Heaven and earth, Revelation 12:6 +3rd bead-More than we can ever know the Hearts of JESUS and Mary overflow with joy at this reunion, Luke1:47 +4th bead-Only in Heaven will we know the great majesty of that coronation, and the joy it gave to the angels and saints, Luke 1:48 +5th bead-Even the angel, who by nature are greater than human, Hail Mary as their Queen, Luke 1:28-30 +6th bead-Mary shares so fully in the Glory of CHRIST because she shared so fully in HIS suffering. +7th bead-Only in Heaven we will see how central is the role of Mary in the Divine Plan of Redemption, Isaiah 7:14 +8th bead-The angels and saints longed for the coming of Her whose heel crushes the head of the serpent, Genesis 3:14 +9th bead-Mary pleads our cause as a most powerful Queen and most merciful and loving Mother, Luke 1:49-50 +10th bead-A great sign appeared in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under Her feet and on Her head a crown of twelve stars, Revelation 12:1 Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee to we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. V.
