Job Description: This position is required to provide program-level project management direction and support for both independent and interdependent IDS IT-led initiatives. The primary role is to exercise the Raytheon IPDS Project Management methodology to provide exceptional project management execution for individual and team assignments. In addition to managing their own projects, this role includes working closely with project managers assigned to projects, providing them specific guidance and direction. This role will have overall management responsibility for projects or a program while leveraging technical experts to create, plan, and execute an overarching strategy. Finally, this role is expected to work across the Enterprise and other businesses boundaries and with other project & program managers to coordinate resources and activities to help realize economies of scale. This position will require the lead to manage several simultaneous projects across several cross business initiatives. Some of these projects types would include, but are not limited to: software development, process re-engineering, COTS replacement/integration, or hardware / network refresh efforts. Specific responsibilities include: *Provide direct management/oversight of IDS IT projects and programs *Develop and manage program budget/schedule; provides oversight for project budget and schedules *Facilitates the identification and acquisition of project/program resources *Conduct program management & technical reviews according to Raytheon IPDS methodology *Assess and manage project(s)/program(s) triple constraints *Maintain project/program repository *Perform risk management throughout the project/program lifecycle *Document/review lessons learned *Construct and deliver regular presentations to stakeholders and IDS IT Leadership *Communicate within the greater Raytheon IT Community *Support smaller IDS IT efforts/work types by providing Project Management mentoring / coaching *Support IDS IT Strategic Planning efforts *Provide support and additional backup for peers within the IT Program Control Team
