Shambolic Morrisons today, just been there to get stuff for this evenings dinner, half a dozen items, get to the checkouts to find just four are open, each with a long queue of pissed off customers. My checkout has five in front of me, and thats the shortest queue. I stand there going nowhere for five minutes when the call for all relief checkout operators to the tills goes out. Nothing happens. A woman appears and walks the length of the checkouts three or four times then disappears again. Five minutes later, a solitary additional checkout operator appears and theres a mad scrum to her checkout. A bloke in my queue sees what seems to be the manager standing behind the checkouts looking like he hasnt a care in the world. Can you open some more checkouts please? he asks, I have to be somewhere else in 15 minutes. The miserable twot of a manager replies, Im doing my best and walks off. No one else comes to open any more checkouts. It takes me a quarter of an hour to get through. What that f***ing place needs is an Asda or a large Tesco to open in this town to show them how to do things properly. Morrisons? - you are totally effing useless and the so-called management need firing.
