Sideflip. (Im not saying this is the correct way but this is what helped me) *Very important* *both feet take off *skip step *moderate momentum I want you to learn how it feels to do something sideways. In this momentum either 3 steps or 30 steps your last step needs to be a skip step, so when you do your last step your momentum goes up making you go higher and higher to make up the height you want. If you drive up squeeze yourself, (every movement or skill needs you to squueze you dont just jump lifeless) coming back if you drive up you will end up in a vertical position when you reach its peak or the height, you then tuck (optional: you can do a non tuck sideflip e.g. sideswipe) coming back when you tuck tight, you spin faster. The tigher you are the less chance you will likely to fall. *What not to do* You end your skip step facing forward not sideward. You dont look at your spinning shoulder to spot the ground. You plant by heels not by balls or feet You land by heels making you lose balance and make yourself fall and hurt yourself Not being prepared Kill yourself. (Its really common sense to not kill yourself) Always be prepared and I recommend alot of stretches, and a basic cartwheel just for you to get the motion. #ClubGymnasticsPhilippines :) traim safe have fun
