Since my thesis wont be published for the moment, I would like to publicly share my acknowledgment page in gratitude for everyone who took part in it. Acknowledgments Written in challenging and troubled times, this thesis would not have been possible without the guidance, encouragement and input of so many people. I cannot express enough gratitude to my advisor Dr Emad Shahin who was extremely patient with me, provided me much-needed direction, and encouragement in every step of the way proving to be a great mentor. I am impressed and appreciative for how he was always able to give me thorough and prompt feedback amidst all circumstances.
