Sitting here by myself thinking.... I am very blessed.... This morning I woke up, fed my kids, took them to school and then spent some time with my Uncle Jr. Now many of you know how close I am to him... I have lived beside him all my life and I am his favorite niece.... 😜. I have grown up watching him be a pillar of strength and compassion in this community.... Every morning I make him his favorite, sausage and biscuit, and go sit with him while he eats... He tells stories of things in the past like they happened yesterday... I love to hear him reminisce... Well yesterday he decided I was his new morning shaver...so armed with a new blade and my hot towel and shaving cream I got to work... I did ok I guess... Well this morning he said lets shave....I must not have scared him to bad yesterday... After I was done he ran his hand over it and said Feels good, better than yesterday... Sorta like me... We will see what tomorrow brings... Such a sweet spirit...He smiled and I grinned... I am making memories Ill Cherish forever... He is my hero.
