Still working to get information out tonight during this potentially dangerous situation. Prestonsburgs downtown area is reportedly flooded. Appartments in Thelma are reportedly flooded. Some areas of US-23 in Floyd County are closed. Blacklog in Martin County is flooded particularly badly. KY-1100 in Floyd County is closed. Major flooding in Woodland Estates KY-825 and KY-2039 near Riceville-flooded Bottom line...if you must be out on the roadways, do NOT drive into areas where water covers the road. Several vehicles have been swept away by the waters. Find another way. In some cases roads have even been washed away tonight.
