So I guess I have a new name. Ive been referred to by supporters of the COSR (Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue) as the Boston B%tch because I publicly support Piper being returned to her rightful owner. For those not familiar with the Piper story, you can catch up pretty quickly in this article which includes documentation of the events: bestinshowdaily/blog/pipers-saga-the-early-days-a-closer-look/ I would like to thank these lovely individuals for getting my hackles back up over this outrage, so I can share information once again about this despicable Sheltie rescue and let my friends share it as well, so Pipers owner can have additional support. She has spent $40,000+ so far in attorneys fees and the case hasnt even gone to court. The rescue has a pro bono lawyer who has worked with AR groups.... The big picture is about ownership rights and the decision could ultimately set a precedence in determining how far a rescue can go in determining what is best for a dog you legally own and have taken good care of.
