So I saw a commercial tonight for NCIS: New Orleans, a new spinoff of the long running NCIS on CBS that will star Scott Bakula as the NCIS Special Agent in Charge - basically a mirror of Mark Harmons character in NCIS. I may actually watch this show, Ive been a fan of Scott Bakula ever since seeing him play an excellent lead in Star Trek: Enterprise. Youll notice I didnt say Quantum Leap. I actually never was a fan of Quantum Leap growing up - Ive seen a few episodes but it never really grabbed my attention during its initial run. And I always thought Scott Bakula was kind of a tool, a shallow actor with unimpressive talent. It wasnt until I saw him in Enterprise that I really was impressed. I remember wondering how he was going to break out of the Quantum Leap character working on Enterprise, and being completely blown away by his portrayal of Captain Archer. So needless to say Im really interested in the new NCIS....
