So... I went to the wake/viewing of my 15+ year tenant Michelle (and friend really, my kids and her kids have been friends for close to as many years, and we lived upstairs there for a while way back when). Was sad, her 3 kids (17 to maybe 22 or so?) live there with her... the two oldest, Dawn & Joe, told me theyd like to stay in the house (which of course they can) and Amy, whos 17, will be staying with her Aunt in the same school district to finish her senior year. Does seem like they have a pretty strong support system of Aunts & uncles etc., so thats a good thing. The wake was really sad, but there was at least one funny moment... Michelles Aunt who is in a wheelchair and was wearing those full black sunglass things says to her (daughter?) Is Mark here? to which the other woman says that may be him in the corner, what does he look like? and Michelles Aunt says (in a funny tone, not an upset tone) Youre asking a blind woman what he looks like? Priceless. Rest in peace Michelle Rzeznik. Well miss you.
