So a few of my friends and acquaintances have mentioned that they might be interested in coming to visit the Fellowship that we attend. Tomorrow would be a good day if anyone were interested. It will be Soup Sunday for one. Sophias class will be serving Soup, Bread and desserts to the church. The standard donation is $3.00 per mug (with refills). If you dont have money, you can eat anyway. There will be at least 3 vegetarian soups served, and some gluten free bread options too. All of the money we raise will be going to Claire House, that is what the kids voted to do. It is also Mitten Tree Sunday. There will be a tree that we will be decorating with mittens, gloves, scarfs, and winter socks. I believe that all of the Fuzzy decorations will go to Covenant House. Another part of our little Winterfest will be crafts for persons from 3 to 93. Sugar cookie decorating (and eating), ornament making (to take home or hang on the tree). So lots of activities. You could even skip church and come to the festivities afterwards. Church starts about 11 though, Soup and the rest start about 1230.
