So, after being in a extremely bad mood for most of the day, I finally realized what my problem is. Now Im not 100% positive on this, but Im fairly confident that today is the 10 year anniversary of my family moving to Alabama. Now, it hasnt been all bad. Ive been blessed with an amazing group of friends whom I love dearly. I was able to travel all over the southeast with my band/ second-family and spread the love of Christ through music. Ive experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows, all of which molding me into the man I am today. But, with that being said, I can honestly say that, even over this past decade, this place has never felt like home. I have tried with all my being to learn to like this place, but to no avail. After years of evaluating, pondering, and praying, I have come to the conclusion that I just dont fit here. I hope and pray no one takes any offense to this post. This isnt a shot against any individual. This is just a lament from a guy that just wants to get to where he belongs. ...I know I don’t belong here; I’ll never Call this place my home, I’m just passing through.
