So.....little rant for ya. I recently was shuffling through some things I have seen on a certain persons Facebook page about their Top 10 things they hate. This person is a drummer. Keep it at that..... The list included these three things they hate: Double bass pedals Big wrap around drum kits And close minded drummers Now, all this person could talk about and kinda make fun of is the modern drummer drum off players and I am assuming their usage of the double pedal vs just using a single pedal such as Bonham or Niko did. I will agree that the single pedal should be used as much as possible and not substitute double pedal playing where single pedal can get the job done. All that said....dude.....seriously?? Double bass playing is ALSO an art form in itself a And your opinion about BiG wrap around kits is kinda lame! (Insert Neil Peart, terry Bozzio etc...) AND as far as your comment on Close Minded Drummers....arent you yourself being close minded by thinking only single pedal players and small drum kit players rule??? Might want to keep your opinions to yourself next time. Some of us....including myself love big kits, big playing, and entertaining drummers as well. Stay in your garage and post your little YouTube videos that bore people to death!! Love, me and every other drummer that arent close minded to think a small kit is the better choice! #mybigkitinfrontof20,000everynight
