So my son has had severe GERDS since birth. (To the folks he has projectile chucked on, I apologize) 12 weeks premature/genetics/anxiety? I have no idea why he has such problems, but I feel it is anxiety causing the issues. He swears hes not stressed about anything. At around age 8, after multiple tests, medications and an endoscopy, he was placed on simple Zantac. The dr back then said its anxiety causing the reflux. I recently learned Zantac can damage bones and cause bone density problems. What in the world?!? Ive been told Im too tough on him, Im too easy on him, I baby him too much, hes faking, he could have cancer and is dying, etc. the school sent him home twice in two weeks for nausea.....Anyone else have a kid with GERD issues? Anything helping?
