So today during my prenatal visit, they had this rude, aggressive BUTTHEAD of a doctor see me. His job was to discuss with me Vaginal birth after c-section. So basically, he said to me, and these were his exact words, a VBAC at home after a c-section is child abuse as far as Im concerned. So I mentioned to him the less than 1 % chance of my scar tearing and hes goes, Yeah, but we dont know where youre gonna fall within that 1%. Now the funniest part is that he went over my medical history and the fact that I had 2 vaginal birth and how well they doubled stitched my uterus only to tell me how good I looked as a candidate for a vaginal birth...with them of course. The problem is, he talked way too much. He started talking to me about how of course they wanted my business and wanted to keep their jobs and so on. ^^^Thats what its about. they ant the business, and if more and more women catch on to the fact that they can have safe births at home or at free standing birthing centers, thats money being taken away from them. It also turns out that he has a reputation for being rude and abrasive and theyve had other complaints. He told me that if I decided on a home birth, that they would give me 30 days to find another provider and then discharge me because he didnt want me wasting their time or mine. So basically, unless I agree to give them more of my business, they will refuse me service. Little does he know, Im out of here before baby is born anyway. Jokes on you Dr. Rude.
