So true always surprised at how many people expect to just put a saddle on a horse with relatively zero ground work and now they want to ride! Im a very strong believer in taking it slow and building a relationship with your horse - and if your horses doesnt listen and respect you on the ground he certainly wont when you are up and vulnerable up on their back. I think many good horses wouldnt go bad if we only took the time with them...
