So we finished a hair ahead of the top half for the Invitational. 75th out of 165 teams. Thought our chicken was the best tasting of the year, though didnt look great. Chicken was 149th (oops), Ribs 33rd with 173.12, Pork 33rd with 171.9656 and Brisket was 76th. So a few really high scores in a tough field. Not sure what happened to the chicken. Was about the same as our two 1st places earlier in the year. Go figure :). Hard to say how we exactly feel as we were really happy with the cook. All I know now is we are getting ready to rock the Open tomorrow!! No stopping now baby. Dessert was banging and we are going rogue on the Sausage entry tomorrow as we havent even practiced it yet..........I would make a weird sausage joke, but that would be too easy.
