Some of you know me and how I was before I started crossfit in April. I certainly wasnt the fittest and still am far from it but I am on my way to being a fitter me. When I started crossfit the coaches worked with me doing things very light knowing my condition and a back injury. I was barely doing squats and such. Instead of running I was rowing, box jumps and step ups were only 2 inches high and weights was a PVC bar for a few months. Gradually it has been getting more intense and the workouts are still modified at times to get me through with the same effect and workout. I push myself at times as well and sometimes I get reigned back in lol. So my accomplishments are getting there and am hitting personal goals every week. This week I have gone from 2 inch box jumps when I started in April to 16 inch box jumps, I am doing weighted good mornings, today I just did my first 200 meter run (ok jog) but it was a jog carrying a sandbag and I add a little weight each week doing dead lifts and bench pressing. Yesterday I had a physical and the doctor was really surprised with my flexibility and said he was very surprised that I had that much of it. I know it isnt much to some, but from where I started in April it is a huge improvement and it prepares me everyday for what is ahead of me mentally and physically, but it also makes me a better person in life.
