Some people just dont know when to stop. Pakistani atheists/liberals are busy spreading some animal rights protest in some country by animal rights activists decrying slaughtering animals. I suppose from now on we should all pray collective salaatul haajah whenever we are in need of meat. Remember slaughtering animals on Eid is from shaar/symbols of Islam. Just like beard and hijab, and mosques, and hajj and so on. Tomorrow they will decry: why people pray at mosques, they should pray at home. Why people perform hajj, its a waste of money and resources etc. Hazrat Mujjadid Alf Saani Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi, had declared in his time, quite boldly that cow slaughter was from shaar of Islam, even while living among majority Hindus. We need to keep things in perspective, or before long nothing of living Islam will be left for us.
