Sometimes I do post things that may cause you to feel uncomfortable, like the pic and poem of the little girl, it isnt about throwing guilt it is about awareness we get so busy and wrapped up in our own worlds, our own comfort zones, our own happy families, that we forget that horrendous, atrocious acts of abuse against children are taking place far more than we are aware of. It is about raising our awareness, fine tuning our antennas. When we see a mother or a father or sibling bullying another defenseless child, or hitting it for no serious reason, then, yes we can make a stand, say something. If we become aware of an abusive family we can report them to the authorities, for many, heads are hidden in the sand like friggin ostriches, donning the attitude of we dont want to get involved For those of us, and many on this page who have been abused as children, like myself who more often than not looked like the picture I posted, we are ambassadors for these innocent children who dont have a voice. So dont post comments like admonishing the reader because this is NOT what I am doing, and quite frankly it pisses me off, as it often the ones with the big mouths that do nothing. So, be AWARE, fine tune your antennas, and look around your own neighborhood for I assure you a lot goes on behind closed doors that you think are good because they are painted pretty with a picket white fence.
