Soul Fans, Thank you for your support of the Soul this season. Despite a difficult ending in Saturday’s ArenaBowl, I am very proud of our team and all of our supporters. 2013 proved to be a successful season and 2014 will be even better! This season, we secured our second straight American Conference Championship. Tiger Jones became the first ever professional wide receiver with three consecutive years with 2,000 yards receiving and FB Derrick Ross became the all-time rushing leader in the AFL. With many of our key players returning including Tiger and Derrick along with an aggressive approach to bring even more talent to the team, you can count on the Soul to be in position to win a World Championship in 2014, providing another exciting season for our fans. I am also proud to say the Soul organization came away from last week’s AFL Awards Gala with “Support Staff of the Year”, recognizing the league’s top front office. We have a bunch of people in our organization from top to bottom that are passionate about our team and love working hard to bring our fans an incredible experience. We are able to do the things we do because we have the best fans in the AFL!! As the Arena Football League heads into its 27th season, there is a lot of exciting news. The league proudly announced its newest expansion team, the LA KISS, owned by legendary rock band, KISS. There will be more expansion news in the coming weeks – stay tuned! There will be more TV broadcast opportunities for our fans in 2014 and the AFL continues to move towards starting Arena Football in China.
