WebHallen has teamed up RFSL, Stockholm’s network for LGBTI refugees, to auction off a charity special edition Playstation 4: The Gaystation edition. According to Swedish retailer WebHallen: ‘For many young people, playing has become a refuge to escape the taunts in real life. We gamers in heart and mind are keen that as many as possible have the opportunity to feel welcome and enjoy the worlds largest and fastest growing interest: TV and computer games.’ At time of publication the current leading bid on the Gaystation is 17100 Swedish Krona (SEK) (€1,865 or $ 2,506), and all proceeds from sales will be given to RFSL.
